The incident described in this song is based on my reaction to a fellow I saw as I was leaving Ulibarri’s Barber Shop in downtown Flagstaff one day in the summer of 2009.

The idea sat in my “Music Sketches” folder until this month, when I filled in the rest of the lyrics as quickly as I’d allow myself.
This song was my contribution to the emuFest on Songcrafters.org: electronic instruments only. No guitars allowed.

Thanks!

February 3, 2011 at 5:44 amVery cool Ted! Kind of reminds me of the 80's. Some of the sounds are really cool and it all works in a groovy retro way.
Did you double your voice or is that an effect. The line, "our eyes meet" is pretty clever musically.
I'll have to try the same exercise when I get my stuff together.
