Ele-fish Gerald (Sketch)

The stupid pun did not occur to me until after I had finished this sketch. I don’t know whether that should make me proud or disappointed.

What would be the “elefish?” Off the top of my head, it would be the largest herbivorous fish. The largest aquatic herbivore is the dugong, but that’s not a fish. Apparently the largest vegan fish is the parrotfish, which only grows to a maximum size of 4 feet (1.22 m). I guess, that’s not small.

I didn’t think I’d ever say this, but, Evolution, you disappoint me.

The sketches I’ve been publishing since I’ve relaunched this blog have mostly been oldies, drawn over the last year or more. But this one is brand new. I did it all today—mostly during breakfast and lunch.
