I was looking at a coloring book marketed to little girls. I think the book’s title was Draw Clothes and Makeup on Thin White Women and Learn to Hate Yourself.
I realized that I’ve never tried to learn to draw “pretty” faces. I copied the style of the eyes and the nose. And then I just couldn’t.
A side effect of this doodle has been that I can’t get the song “Green-Eyed Lady” by Sugarloaf out of my head.
