I don’t know what I was thinking. Bonehead began in the sand, on a Madagascan beach, drawn with my finger as quickly as possible before the next wave came in to erase it.
Bonehead lived less than 30 seconds.
Later that evening I broke out my sketchbook for the first time in many months. I had no new ideas. Bonehead came back.
Oh, and it was New Year’s Day, 2020. Happy Belated New Year.
Bonehead made me realize that my pencil-and-paper sketching skills have deteriorated from neglect. One of my resolutions is to spend more time with my sketchbook.
I may even bring back the Photos from Memory series. But for now we have Bonehead.
